Tina

Tina & LibbyTina is originally from North Carolina, but has lived all over the South. She loves North Carolina with it’s mountains and beaches. She has lived in the Wake Forest area with her husband and two children for years now. When not working for TLC Dog Training, she stays busy doing freelance photography and working with various children’s ministries.

She has worked with preschool and elementary age children for many years. She also stays quite busy volunteering at her kid’s school and is excited to be a “soccer mom”!

She really enjoys working with animals and loves to see their different personalities. She has taken care of all types of animals including: turtles, fish, exotic birds, hamsters/mice, cats, and all kinds of dogs. She even knew one of the trainers of Lassie when she was a child! She enjoys meeting pet owners and all their animals (kids) and knows how important they are to them! Whether boarding or pet sitting in your home, she thinks it is important to provide a healthy, happy and secure environment for your pets!

She has also had animals most of her life. She grew up with cats, German Shepherds, and every size of Poodle (from toy to standard). Her pride and joy was her Rottweiler, Aspen. She was like her first child before she had her own children. She was a sweet, well-trained, great dog!

We look forward to taking care of your pets while you are away at work or at play!!

Holly

Holly is a native Texan and moved to the Raleigh area with her husband's job transfer in 2000.  The Raleigh area has proved to be a wonderful place to live, work, and raise a family.  She and her husband plan to remain in the Raleigh area for many years to come.   When not working, Holly enjoys spending time with her husband, 2 children, and 2 pets named Mattie and Junifer.  Smiling Mattie is pictured with Holly.   Junifer, a loving cat, is not pictured as she is camera shy.

Holly and MattieEach and every pet has a unique personality and spirit of their very own.  Holly finds joy in meeting, greeting and caring for pets when their special people are away from home.  Holly's services provide peace of mind during a time of pleasure, business or crisis.

Service to others, spending time outdoors, and traveling are her favorite things to do.  Whether it's by car, plane, train, or boat she loves to be on the move.  Holly recently combined those loves with a mission trip to Guatemala.  Learning a new culture, while opening her heart to someone in need, proved to be a life changing experience.

The mission work completed in Guatemala led to more localized mission work in Wake County.  Holly is now involved with the Pan Lutheran Ministries (PLM) of Wake County assisting homeless families.  PLM gets families off the streets and into a program that provides life skills and training for a better future.

George

George and PennyGeorge Wallace is a native of North Carolina. After graduating from Millbrook High School in Raleigh, George attended Appalachian State University where he met his wife Sherry and received his degree in Advertising and Communications.

George spent a great deal of his growing up years on his grandparents' farm in Wilson, North Carolina., and it was there that his love for animals and interest in their care and well being began.

After graduation from college, George worked with Invisible Fence in Charlotte and later became the dealer for the Triangle area. During that time, he had the opportunity to work with Brian Kilcommons, author of "Good Owners, Great Dogs". He also got to meet another dog behavior great, Roger Caras, whose philosophy about animals affected him greatly.

George, his wife Sherry and their four children-Tori, Alix, Colin, and Nikki now live in Youngsville as they restore a model 1880 Victorian home. George has owned and worked with most dog breeds that exist today. He admits his favorite was his Akita. His family also includes 3 cats -- two bengals and one tabby.

"I am thrilled to work as a dog trainer and pet sitter with TLC Dog Training and Critter Care. I enjoy helping pets and their people to solve potential and existing problems and to enrich each others lives by combining the animal kingdom and the people kingdom in one household.
