Health and Grooming Care Requirements
Boarders, day school candidates and private lesson students who come to our home for boarding or training must meet the following requirements:
- You may have your veterinarian fax a copy of the shot records to us at 919-556-4643. Dogs must be up-to-date on the following vaccinations:
- Rabies
- Distemper
- Hepatitis
- Leptospirosis
- Parvovirus
- Parainfluenza
- Bordetella
- Canine Influenza is an emerging disease, but as of this writing is not prevalent in North Carolina. For the safety of your dog, we recommend that you consider vaccination against this disease.
- Current on a flea and tick preventative treatment such as Frontline or Advantix and a heartworm preventative.
- Please make sure your dog and his/her bedding, toys and equipment are clean before you arrive.
Group class students and private lesson students should also be current on all shots. Pet sitting and dog walking clients must be current on rabies vaccinations. Please provide a copy of your dog's applicable shot records at the time you register for group classes or at the first in-home visit.
